Instax mini 8

Hello hope you are all well :).

I feel like I don’t use this beautiful little polaroid camera enough so this year I’m going to make a point of using it more. The only thing that puts me off about it is the fact that the film is a little expensive, however if you buy in bulk it ain’t so bad :).

I’ve had this camera for almost a year now as I got it just before I went on holiday in June. I’ve wanted one for agesssss so you can imagine how happy I was to finally get my hands on one!. Out of the colours in the shop I decided to go for the ‘grape’ colour aka the purple one haha. I just love everything about it, it’s super cute and handy to have. I love the idea of polaroid’s as they are instant.

I have used it a few times and I tend to use whichever setting the little light falls on, which can sometimes work out great but in some cases it doesn’t :(. I took it on my holiday and managed to get some decent photo’s (most of them are now in my photo album). I also used it recently at Christmas.

On a film you get 10 shots, I usually buy the double pack where you get two films in therefore you get 20 shots :).

Close up’s of some of my polaroid’s ❤

Do you have an instax camera? I’d love to hear what you think of them!

  1. I am in love with mine! I have the pink one, and am exactly the same as you! I need to use it more, despite the film being so expensive. I’ve got my Polaroids lying around but I have actually bought a scrap book to put them in. They’re just so fun, and the finished pics have loads of sentimental value 🙂 xxxx

    1. I love them! I’ve got a frame recently from new look that pins them like a notice board but its in a white vintage looking frame. I still can’t get the hang of the exposure’s thought haha xx
