Hello, happy GOOD Friday 🙂 It’s Easter weekend whoo hoo.
On Wednesday I visited a tearoom in Durham that I’ve wanted to visit for a while.
It’s quite small but the beautiful décor makes up for it.
Once we sat down we were given a menu of all the different hot drinks they served (I forgot to take a photo of it -opps). I opted for strawberry Green tea and my mam got a normal Earl grey. Once the tea was picked we chose our cakes.
Cake wise there was a choice of cakes on a chalkboard and out of the ones they had left (as we went at around 3ish) I chose a slice of chocolate Guinness cake. My mam on the other hand decided to get a fruit scone with jam and cream 🙂
Our teas were brought over first followed by the cake and scone. I love the little cups and saucers ❤
The strawberry tea was beautiful, one I hadn’t yet got round to trying. It was very sweet so I couldn’t drink a lot of it, however I would purchase it again. My cake was also beautiful naturally you couldn’t really taste the Guinness which is ok as I’m not a massive fan of it haha. The portion size was a bit big for me but I only left a little piece.
My mams scone looked nice and she said it was really tasty.
Overall I would recommend this lovely little tearoom, I know I’ll be re-visiting next time I’m in Durham 🙂
I also have a video from a previous visit to Durham. Feel free to subscribe – NEW VIDEOS COMING SOON 🙂
