FIT Me! Maybelline Foundation

Hello Everyone 🙂

As you guys know I often change my foundation when I run out as I can never stick to a certain one (although I still adore L’Oréal true match). I picked up the Maybelline Fit me foundation from boots for £5.99 (I think it was that price) and a blending sponge from superdrug.

I’ve never tried these products before so I thought I would give them a go.  I’ve been using these products for a week now and I am totally loving the foundation.

I got this foundation in the shade natural ivory. It’s a liquid foundation that is designed for normal to oily skin so it’s perfect for me. This product mattifies and refines pores with blurring mirco-powders for poreless looking skin. I do feel like this actually works as I can’t see my pores as much as I do with other foundations that I have tried. I also love that it is a matte foundation as well. The foundation also matches your skintone and texture so it’s very natural looking which is definitely what I go for in a foundation.  The only downside is that it doesn’t tell you the coverage but it’s quite a buildable foundation so you can keep adding until you are happy with the coverage. I’m so happy with this foundation and would recommend it.

To go with it I purchased the B. blending sponge. This I am not a fan of. The sponge is hard which makes it harder to apply the foundation with, even when I have damped it its still quite hard and nothing like the real techniques one that I have used previously.

I definitely don’t really like this sponge does what it says on the back of the box so I often use my fingers to apply the foundation which isn’t what I want to do. Can’t wait to be reunited with the real techniques miracle complexion sponge its so much better.

Have you tried these products? What is your view?
