|How Hydrated Is Your Skin?|

Happy Friday!!! Hope you are all well.

Have you ever wondered exactly how hydrated your skin is? Well at Boots you can get your skin tested for FREE.  I always thought my skin would be well hydrated as I have a skincare routine  and I drink plenty of water but I was very wrong. I first had my skin tested beginning of February and found out I was only 36% hydrated which meant my skin was way under the hydration mark of 50%. The woman recommended me to change my products are use the Gariner tissue masks weekly for extra hydration and to go back for another test in a few months time.

Into my skincare routine I have replaced my moisturizer with Neutrogena gel hydro boost cream. I also replaced my exfoliating face wash with there hydro boost smoothing exfoliating gel. This is an new range by Neutrogena that helps to boost your skins hydration and my gosh it is amazing!!!. I’ve never tried any products by Neutrogena before but I thought as I needed hydrating products I would give them a try.

There are two types of creams that they do in this range a water based one and this gel one. I tried a sample of both an felt that the gel one would be more suited for me. This gel cream is designed to boost skin hydration and make your skin bounce back. It is a product that is a refreshing moisturiser that contains Hyaluronic Gel Matrix that locks in intense hydration and releases it as and when your skin needs it throughout the day.

Neutrogena Hydro Boost Smoothing Exfoliator Gel is an innovative gel with soft and naturally derived micro beads that helps to gently exfoliate the skin and removes impurities whilst delivering a vital boost of hydration. The combination of Neutrogena cleansing technology, hydrating agent and Hyaluronic acid which is naturally found in skin, help the formula to protect the skin barrier, boost hydration and help lock it in.

I have been using both the these products skin February and can see and feel so much difference n my skin. A few weeks ago I got my skin re tested and as a result of using these daily my skin hydration has improved and is now sitting on 55% hydration, whilst  still need to work on it my skin is now in the hydrated section which is amazing. I’m so glad I decided to try out this range and I will be purchasing other stuff from this range. Here is a link for the products that they do in this particular range. http://www.neutrogena.co.uk/product/hydro-boost

As I am almost out of the gel moisturiser I thought I would try out the hydra genius aloe water from L’Oréal Paris’s new range.

DSC_9285ecI have started to try out this liquid care product that again like the Neutrogena range locks in moisture for 72hours and gives the skin a fresh and glowing look. This smells so good as well as its aloe water it reminds me of the after sun I use when I’m on holiday which makes me smile, With this you literally only need 1/2 pumps as its a water based product it goes along away. I’ve used it about 4 times and again can feel the difference in my skin.

I’m using all three of these featured as well as the tissue masks by Gariner and I am loving the results, I will b getting tested again in June and I am looking forward to hopefully seeing better results.  I highly recommend you to try out these products and I am so glad to of found them and glad they are helping my skin out as no one like dry skin especially on the face.

Have you tried out these products or had your skin tested before?

Thank you for reading xxx
