Hi Everyone hope you are all having a lovely week so far :).
I recently explored the stunning island of Rhodes and one of the things on my list of places to visit was Anthony Quinn Bay. I’ve seen lots of photo’s and heard lovely things about this place so it was high up on my list of things to do whilst on holiday.
This lovely inlet and beach sits adjacent to the already listed Ladiko Beach. It is where several scenes were filmed for the “Guns of Navarone” motion film, which featured the actor Antony Quinn, hence its name. It’s situated in Faliraki and is quite a popular place to visit.
When we arrived at the bay there was obviously a beach and only one eating accommodation. There was a little bar/soft drinks cafe next to the traverna but it didn’t serve food. The food served was lovely but not much option other than meat and fish. It was a little pricey but the food was lovely.
This beach is stunning and the clear blue water was simply mesmerising, simply stunning to look out on. As the beach was fully (it’s not a big beach) we decided to go climbing amongst the rocks and found little coves which was filled with sea water, which was quite lovely as it cooled us down.
I’m so glad I visited this stunning bay and would definitely recommend.
What is your fave thing about going on holiday?
