Happy New Year Everyone!, Hope you all had a lovely New Years. I can’t believe were into a new year already, I mean where did 2017 go!.
Thought I would do a little post rounding up 2017. If you follow me on Instagram you will of seen some of this in my stories ( xamylouise89x – if you don’t already follow).
In January I lost for comedian virginity and saw one of my faves Jack Whitehall. He was so funny even my dad enjoyed it and he’s not a fan of Jack.
As well as seeing Jack I also got to hang out with one of my faves bands on their album signing tour. You Me At Six, I love seeing these boys it’s always a pleasure they make you feel welcome in their company. Not gonna post a selfie as I don’t look my best but here’s a photo of Dan and Max.
One of my fave months as I finally got to see my all time fave band, after 15 years of waiting. I finally was in the same room as one of my hero’s Billie Joe Armstrong. That’s right I finally saw Greenday on their revolution radio tour, and I had the time of my life. I went with my dad and he loved it as well. They are an incredible band to see live and iim grateful I finally had the opportunity to see them.
Nor the best of photo’s as I was at the back but still :).
I went for a weekend away to London for my dad’s 60th and it was amazing. One of the highlights was taking my parents up The Shard, it was an experience I will never forget.
My holiday to Rhodes was amazing. Lots of things to see and do and I would recommend it to anyone!. Definitely one of my fave holidays to date!
I turned 28 and had a week away in Shopeshire with my parents, in a lodge. It was lovely especially as I finally got to go to Chester Zoo!.
Elephants are one of my fave animals so I naturally had to get a selfie haha.
I ended the year visiting York and it was a lovely little day out exploring with my mam.
This year I have also visited many National trust places within the North East and I’m loving being a member and exploring places near me. Here’s one of my faves photo’s from a National Trust place.
Nothing better than looking out onto a beautiful countryside. I’m all for being a city girl but sometimes being away from the hustle and bustle is blissful!.
I’ve also worked with some amazing brands who I’m extremely grateful for especially as my blog is only little! From Essence make up to Skinny tan, to Palmers to Mad Beauty, The fragrance shop and Anatomicals and Superdrug’s own Roots hair brand.
I’ve also attended some fabulous events in the North East such as Restaurant week, Urban Decay, Too Faced, The Body Shop and Kiss manicure nails launch.
These are just some of my amazing memories from 2017, most of which are also documented on my YouTube channel!. I can’t wait to see what this year brings me. What has been your highlights?
Thank you for reading xxx
