Happy Monday hope you have all had a lovely weekend.
With the weather being lovely over the weekend we decided to make a day of it and go down to Castle Howard, which took around an hour and a half to get there. Castle Howard is a stately home in North Yorkshire, England, 15 miles north of York. It is a private residence, and has been the home of the Carlisle branch of the Howard family for more than 300 years.
I’ve never been there before and I love grand buildings so I was rather excited to visit. When we got there we decided that because the weather was lovely that we didn’t want go into the house and that we just wanted to wander around the gardens and by the lakes so we only paid £11.95 each. It does cost a little more if you are wanting to do both the house and gardens. To see more about prices and whats on visit the website by clicking here
I decided to wear a plain Jane type of outfit and kept it nice a simple with my River Island light blue ripped jeans and a white body suit which is from Boohoo. As I was vlogging my day I took with me my little black pack which is from Urban Outfitters. I sometimes love to just wear plain tops as opposed to patterned ones or slogan tee’s.
I enjoyed walking around the gardens and looking at the stunning architecture of Castle Howard. I love going for days out in the countryside and getting away from all the busy city life and noises of daily traffic, even if it is just for a few hours it can really help you get ready for the week ahead and make you feel relaxed. Yorkshire is definitely one of my fave places to visit in the UK by far. There’s still so many places to explore here in the UK that I would love to visit.
I totally realised that I actually didn’t take that many photos as I have mentioned I was vlogging my day so make sure you keep an eye out on my channel to see what I got up to. I had a fab time trying out the super slow mode on my new phone (Samsung S9).
Where is your fave place in the UK or abroad?
