Happy Monday! I can’t believe January is almost coming to an end, where on earth did it go!. Hope you all had a fantastic weekend!.
With the weather warnings in place and frost on my doorstep I headed out in search of some winter sunshine and of course SNOW. Yes last week we had our first little inkling of snow, and whilst it didn’t last long I still managed to find some snow, well kind of!
Whilst I wrapped up warm I also wanted to put on a summery type outfit to get me in the mood for summer, especially as the sun had it’s hat on.
I layered up and wore a t-shirt, a black thin jumper and a chunky knitted jumper. I decided to wear thick 100 denier weather depending tights (and by that I mean according to packaging there meant to change there purpose of wear depending of the temperature of the weather, so in summer they’re rather cooling and in winter they keep my legs nice and warm) and my mustard chord skirt. I’ve has this skirt for around 2 years maybe and this believe it or not is only the second time I’ve worn it!. It’s from Urban Outfitters and I have fallen back in love with it!. I just adore the colour.
I really loved styling this skirt with knitwear and will definitely be wearing skirts more this year (well maybe, who knows). I’m also working on my hair a lot at the moment and I’m loving the difference in it compared to a few month ago. It’s now looking and feeling more thicker and I’m loving styling it more wavy/curly.
And when I wasn’t feeling as brave about taking my coat off, here’s what I looked like. Wrapped up in my teddy coat with the hat gloves and of course scarf on!. As the morning went on it got colder so I headed off for a little sprinkling of retail therapy. I even purchased something that’s way out of my comfort zone when it comes to clothing. So look out for that in the next few weeks or on my Instagram.
Have you had any hints of snow yet?
