Happy Wednesday, hope you have all had a lovely Easter weekend. I most certainly have despite working the Saturday and Easter Monday. I made the most of being off Good Friday and Sunday, and enjoyed the glorious sunshine!.
I ventured down to North Yorkshire both days that I was free and visited two beautiful places that were very picturesque. Friday I explored Ripley Castle and gardens and it was so stunning. We paid £5 each and it was totally worth the price!. The garden’s naturally weren’t out in full bloom but the tropical greenhouse was something else. It was full of quirkiness and I blooming loved it!. More information click here
My outfit was very simple, plain black jumper with a mustard chord skirt. As I was unsure of what the temperature was going to be I opted for black tights and I also had a t-shirt on under my jumper just incase and boy was I glad I did!. I also got up very close and personal with a herd of cows and it was fantastic. I clearly should be a farmer’s daughter haha.
Easter Sunday was spent exploring Thorp Perrow : Gardens and Arboretum Bedale. This cost us £10 each and it was so peaceful despite how full the car park got as the day went on. As this place has a mammal centre we saw baby meerkats and wallabys, they were so dam cute! More information click here
As it was another cracking day of spring sunshine and I decided to ditch my tights aka bin erm and get out my milk bottles haha. Again I kept my outfit simple with a red body suit and denim skirt. I love wearing simple outfits and this was just perfect. I must admit it did feel super weird having my legs out.
I had the best time exploring, I love exploring new places and North Yorkshire did not disappoint! Highly recommend both these places if you live around the area or are visiting!. We also found a little village with THE BIGGEST CHERRY TREE I’ve ever seen, they are my fave type of trees!.
What did you get up to this Easter weekend? I’d love to know in the comments 🙂
