Happy Wednesday! Halfway through the first week of June and first week of summer!. It doesn’t feel like summer with all this gloomy weather we are currently having at the moment BUT I still feel fabulous as it means, that I go on holiday next month!. Boy am I ready for one!.
If you have followed by blog for a while well maybe a year then you will know that I adore Caroline Flack’s clothing collaboration with River Island. She released her first collaboration last summer ,where I picked up a couple of bits including my FAVE dress ever known to man, and this year she was back with an even bigger range 21 items to be exact!. After seeing it online I instantly fell in love with a few pieces so I went into my local River Island to take a closer look. I managed to pick up a pair of black denim shorts and a t-shirt. The shorts are perfect for my holiday and a decent pair will last me years so they cost me £35, which isn’t that bad. They do come in a light blue denim colour but I preferred the black.
I also picked up the t-shirt that originally when I looked at the price tag was like’ nahhh I ain’t paying £22′ HOWEVER once I tried it on that was it, its so comfy to wear and the material feels decent, a one that won’t twist in the washing machine, it feels super soft on my skin and the colour is just perfect for me.
Since I’ve bought it I’ve already worn it quite a lot and I just love it!. I also really adore the quote on it as well ‘ Run wild love strong’. I also decided to pair this outfit with this leopard print scrunchie that I picked up a few weeks ago from Primark. I really loved wearing it however when it blew in the wind I kept thinking I was getting attacked by flies haha.

I think I have shopped in River Island once and that was when I was trying to find a bikini and had exhausted all the usual shops. Their stuff is cute but often reminds me of Topshop clothing and I am trying to pick sustainable clothing options.
The last thing I bought was a pair of blue jean shorts from Zara. They are a ‘mom’ fit and they are so comfy!! xx

I’ve never shopped in Zara before maybe I need to start haha. I can only find certain things in River Island but I have to be there at the right time as I’m fussy too haha xx

It is definitely the same as Zara – you only find one or two things you like at most but you fall in love with those pieces. Also their website is a nightmare to navigate… xx
