Happy Wednesday!. Can’t believe we are halfway through June, where has this month gone!
A few weekends ago I took a trip up to one of my fave National Trust places within Norhumberland, Cragside. On my last visit I noticed that they have a huge display of Rhododendron’s coming up from the end of May until Mid June, and boy I wasn’t disappointed. As we were driving up you could see an array of colour which we were all like oh my. We were only expecting the stunning flowers to be near the house but they were EVERYWHERE! Such an amazing display.
As the sun came out I was very pleased to be wearing this palm tree printed mustard cropped shirt from Primark. It was breezy so this shirt really kept me cool throughout the wander around the beautiful grounds!.
I paired the shirt with my ripped at the knees dark blue topshop jeans and my white converse style trainers from Primark.
I had the best day looking at all the different types of Rhododendrons and getting up close to them Whilst I love the colour flowers I think my fave has to be the white one I mean just look at the detailing of the purple marks on them, there just so pretty!. I was very impressed with they display and so pleased I got to see them. I love seeing the different flowers blossom with the different seasons and I love the Cragside is only about an hour ish away from where I live, perfect for a little afternoon out. National Trust’s are definitely my fave places to explore there’s always something to see and do. I also love re visiting places I’ve already been too but maybe take up a different walk and I love seeing things from different heights. I also adore being out in the countryside, the peace and quite is just what you need on a sunny Sunday afternoon. I highly recommend becoming a National Trust member as there’s so many beautiful places all over the country to explore so I’m sure there’ll be some near where you are!.
Where is your ‘go to’ place to explore?
