|Seasonal Bakes – Snowman and Reindeer kit|

Happy Monday only 9 sleeps until Santa!

I was recently in Sainsbury’s browsing through there home baking section when I came across this cute Christmas baking kit. I love shortbread biscuits and if I’m honest we only really get them around Christmas time, so when I saw this I just couldn’t resist. You get all the ingredients inside you just need to add in the butter and a little flour for dusting. Perfect and very easy to do! This kit bakes 8 biscuits.

The instructions are pretty clear so you can’t really go wrong. I learnt my lesson from the last time I baked biscuits recently and I used a timer so that I didn’t over bake them this time.

Once baked and left to cool for 10 minutes I began to decorate them. Melted the white chocolate buttons and dipped the edges of 4 biscuits in them before adding on the sprinkles. They literally went EVERYWHERE despite how careful I was haha.

I was pretty pleased with how these turned out given the fact I’m not good at drawing I think these turned out pretty dam good. They taste really nice and buttery just the perfect type of shortbread. Perfect little afternoon treat.

Have you baked biscuits? What’s you have kind of biscuit?

I bought these last week, and made them over the weekend 😂 I think shortbread is one of the easiest things to make anyway, but this was super easy and quick 😊 my decorating was completely off though, and nothing like the box or yours! Xx
