|Ordinary Skincare Products|

Happy Friday. Hope you all have had a lovely week!

I haven’t purchased any new skincare products  in such a long time as I tend to just repurchase what I usually use, however I kept seeing this brand pop EVERYWHERE and thought I’d try it out.

106296047_10158460946580350_5049984535052836135_nThe Ordinary is the stripped back premium skin care brand without the eye-watering price tag and I think that’s what drew me to what to try out some of the products. I purchased these products from ASOS about a few weeks into lockdown and I’m super pleased I did!. A lot of the stuff across all the websites that sell them was sold out so I knew then that they must be worth it. I picked up a cleanser, hyaluronic acid and a moisturiser. The cleanser and moisturiser came in two different sizes. I opted for the smallest size just with it being a new product I didn’t know if my skin would have a reaction to it or not.

Squalane cleanser. This is a gentle cleanser that is an oil based product designed to take away your make up and impurities that locks in the moisture of your skin. This product is amazing the way it starts off like a balm texture before going into an oil with the heat of your fingers. This alone leaves my skin feeling very soft and hydrated.  This can be used on any skin type.

Hyaluronic Acid.  This is an oil-free formula based product that gives you long-lasting hydration to your skin.  The winning combo of Hyaluronic Acid and Vitamin B5  helps with the moisture retention on the skin for a plump and smooth complexion with a fresh, dewy feel. This really does work. You used this product before you use any creams on your face and wow why haven’t I used this sooner! My skin is left looking glowy and smooth. Dries in very quickly as well. Just need to use one to two drops.

Natural moisturizing factors +HA. Natural Moisturizing Factors (NMF) are elements that keep the outer layer of the skin protected and well-hydrated. This formula give you non-greasy hydration that lasts with continuous usage. I love how hydrated my skin felt after use one use!.

Overall I bloody love these products!. My skin has never looked better to the point where I won’t be wearing foundation for work most days now. I love how hydrated my skin feels and looks. I’ve mainly just used these 3 products since they arrived,  I used all 3 twice a day and the difference is amazing. So pleased I bought them AND they are super super super affordable which is amazing. I will definitely be buying the bigger size now that I know it likes me skin haha.

Have you tried this brand before? What are your fave products?

Thank you for reading xxx

  1. I have heard so much about The Ordinary but never actually used them myself. To be honest I am so happy with the Vitamin E range from Superdrug that I’ll probably just keep using that! xx

  2. I absolutely adore The Ordinary – their products are SO effective and still manage to be so affordable! I’ve not tried Natural moisturizing factors +HA, but it sounds interesting. The other two products I’ve tried and loved!xx

  3. I love all of your shots!!! I’ve been hearing lots of good feedback from The Ordinary but your comprehensive review just sealed the deal! I might start looking into some of their products especially the hyaluronic acid, because currently I am only using their niacinamide and caffeine solution for my undereyes. 💓

  4. Recently bought the AHA 30% + BHA 2% Peeling Solution and I am really looking forward to using it.
I have been binge reading reviews on The Ordinary, and by now, I really got my hopes up! Thanks for the review 🙂
