Happy Bank Holiday! I hope you are all well
Last weekend I visited my first National Trust of 2021!. We didn’t explore many National trust places last year with the pandemic but this year with things being more positive I got booking. I absolutely love visiting Beningbrough Hall it’s situated in North Yorkshire and its just beautiful. Obviously at the moment the house is closed but the gardens and walks around the grounds are open. Booking like most places at the moment is essential. I feel like booking things has became the new ‘normal’ and I’m unsure how I feel about that but it’s a way forward for sure.
Let’s talk outfits! While I love Spring I feel sometimes you can’t always judge what the weather has in store so I often never know what to wear. I struck lucky on this day as it was sunny AND I went out without a coat on. It felt amazing not to have a big chunky coat on.

As you can see I didn’t even have my usual shacket on, instead I opted for this gorgeous cord shirt from Nasty Gal. I originally bought this to wear for work BUT I just love the button detail and wanted to wear it out a few times before it becomes something I wear for work haha. I love this colour as it goes with anything and can be worn to dress up and outfit as well as I just know it will look lovely paired with a black dress. It’s so comfy to wear and it washes quite well too. It comes a few different colours as well but this for me is just perfect!.

Not that you can really see the t-shirt underneath but it’s a one close too my heart as it’s the tee that quote’s Caroline Flack ‘ In a world where you can be anything BE KIND’. It’s from Inthestyle and is currently on sale for £4 what a bargain!. All proceeds go to Mind charity which I love as mental health now more than ever is sooo important and everyone should know that it’s ok to not be ok and there’s ALWAYS someone out there you can talk too. They also have some lovely pieces as part of there Be Kind campaign. Highly recommend checking it out.

This month I always treat myself to some new vans. I used to wear vans years ago and man I forgot how comfy they are!. I was going to get plain black ones but when I seen these I fell in love and just had to get them. They were £75 but to me there money well spent. Can’t go wrong with a pair of comfy shoes. I picked these bad boys up from Schuh

I paired the whole outfit with my ripped in the knee’s dark blue jeans that I’ve has for YEARS, can’t even remember where there from I feel like it was probably Topshop, there jeans for me last a long time. As always from me a simple and comfy outfit.
I’m currently enjoying writing these types of posts again but please let me know if there’s anything else you’d like to see from me. I’m always open to ideas.
