Happy New Year! Hope you’re all well.
Welcome back to my little old blog it’s been quite a while since I’ve posted as frankly I’ve fallen a little out of love with it. BUT I accidentally paid for another year which is maybe the kick up the ass I needed to post more who knows, so I thought I’d share some 2021 highlights and go from there!.
Took some little trips

I went on my first EVER solo day trip to Manchester and it was so lovely (well aside from when it rained). I loved exploring the city and taking ALOT of photo’s. I’m rather proud of myself for doing that as I’ve never really done anything fully on my own before as I do prefer company, BUT I had the best time and will definitely have more day trips by myself.
A week in Kent

I had the best best time in Kent in September and it was glorious. Had some fabulous days out exploring AND we walked the famous white cliffs of Dover which was just absolutely incredible!, by far one of my highlights of the year! Highly recommend. I have so many photo’s from Kent as there’s so many great places to explore. Some lovely National Trust places as well.
National Trust visits

We all know I’ve been a member of the National Trust for a few years now and I just exploring places I’ve been many a times before and of course discovering new ones. Nothing beats getting outdoors and breathing in some fresh air, I just love it.
Turned 32

We visited Harrogate’s Autumn flower show at Newby Hall on my birthday and the sun had it’s hat on. I had such a wonderful little day. We even got to go inside Newby Hall which was decked out in gorgeous floral displays! Highly recommend booking the Flower show I’m hoping to go back this year as it was a great day out.
Random faves!

The moon was on tour in Durham Cathedral and wow that was spectacular! Well worth the visit. I went pumpkin picking for the first time in my life and took a trip to Fenwicks window in Newcastle which is a Christmas tradition. And finally I went to see Waitress at Sunderland Empire and only went and met MATT BLOODY WILLIS. I’ve loved Matt since Busted first came out many moons ago so meeting him was for the little girl inside me. He was so lovely and he was fabulous in the musical.
As 2022 begins I already have a few things booked and planned in that I am SUPER excited about. We are off to London again in March finally going to the Harry potter studios!. In May I’m heading to Wales for a week before hopefully everything crossed I’m jumping on a plane for two weeks in Greece!
Thank you for reading as always! Let me know if there’s anything you’d like to see on here and I shall hopefully get back into blogging. xxx
Love this look back over the last year! Hope 2022 is even better for you xx
